Shopify build and ecommerce SEO.

A store is two jobs, not one. Somebody has to be able to find the product, and then somebody has to be able to browse a catalogue without giving up. aipple builds the Shopify storefront and does the search work that makes it findable, then checks every other channel the business is already selling on, because that is usually where something is quietly going wrong.

01 What a build includes

What does a Shopify build actually include?

The storefront, the catalogue structure, the product pages and the checkout path that fits how you actually sell. Catalogue structure is the part most people underestimate and the part that decides whether a shopper finds anything: the categories, the filters and the collections that let somebody arrive knowing roughly what they want and leave holding it. Product pages get written rather than filled in, because a page carrying one line of vendor copy cannot rank and cannot sell. Checkout matches reality, which for a shop with a physical counter can mean collecting in person rather than shipping.

02 From nothing to a storefront

Can a shop with no website get a real store?

Exotic Snaxx is the case for that. The rare-imports candy shop in Harlem Irving Plaza had earned 122 Google reviews at 4.9 stars entirely from people walking past, and had no website at all, so none of that reputation was reachable by anyone who had not physically been there. We built the storefront with 2,500 products live, browsable by category, by country, by viral item and by spice tier, with collect-at-the-mall checkout so the catalogue pulls foot traffic into the shop rather than competing with it. Two and a half thousand products is a merchandising problem long before it is a design problem. Read the Exotic Snaxx case study.

03 Product-led brands

What does a store look like for a brand with a few products?

The opposite problem, and it needs the opposite answer: depth instead of breadth. Coppr, a copper drinkware brand, carries three product lines on a Shopify build using the Horizon base with a custom Coppr theme on top. The water bottle product page runs 13 sections with a five-shot gallery and a ritual bundle, because when a buyer is choosing between four bottles the page has to do the whole job of explaining, showing and bundling. Competitor research and keyword research shaped what the store says and what it can rank for before the theme work started. See the Coppr case study.

04 Being found

How do product pages get found on Google?

By matching how buyers type, which in most catalogues means the exact thing they already know: a part number, a brand name, a flavour. MVP Truck Parts records 5.5K organic clicks a month with zero paid campaigns running, measured 5 August 2026, and ranks first for dozens of part-number searches. That position is worth more than it sounds, because a buyer searching a part number has already decided what they need and is only deciding where to buy it. The same account had 820 Google reviews at 4.8 stars showing on zero product pages, which is trust sitting in the wrong place at the exact moment a buyer hesitates. See the MVP Truck Parts case study.

05 The recon pass

What does an ecommerce audit find that I would not?

The things nobody inside the business has a reason to look at. Agora Truck Parts sells on four channels, and on one of them the public rating was one star out of five against 5.0 everywhere else, with nobody watching that channel at all. The same July 2026 audit found demo content from the website theme still live on the homepage, fake blog posts and a London store hours block included, on a business operating out of Elk Grove Village. We mapped the gap between what the menu promised and what the shelf actually held, category by category, then handed over the three cheapest fixes first. Read the Agora Truck Parts audit.

06 Rebuild or repair

Do I need a new store or a fix to the one I have?

Often a fix, and the audit decides. A store already ranking and converting rarely needs replacing, and rebuilding one carelessly can lose the search positions the old pages had earned. What justifies a rebuild is a catalogue nobody can navigate, product pages too thin to rank, or a theme fighting the way the business actually sells. What justifies a repair is a store that works but leaks: unwatched channels, missing reviews on product pages, leftover demo content. Both start the same way, by opening the store and reading it before anyone recommends anything.

07 Cost

What does a Shopify build cost?

We do not publish a rate card. A three-line brand and a 2,500-product catalogue are different jobs, and most of the difference sits in the catalogue work rather than in the theme. Whether product data already exists in usable form moves it further. The number for your store comes out of the free revenue audit, which reads your catalogue, your channels and your competitors before anyone quotes anything.

08 Quick answers

Straight answers.

How much does it cost to build a Shopify store?

We do not publish a rate card. A three-product brand and a 2,500-product catalogue are different jobs, and the difference is mostly catalogue work. Your number comes out of the free revenue audit.

How many products can you put on a new Shopify store?

Exotic Snaxx launched with 2,500 products on a storefront we built for a shop that had no website at all. Volume is not the hard part. Browsability is, which is why that store sorts by category, country, viral item and spice tier.

I sell in a physical shop, do I really need an online store?

You need to be findable, which is not the same as shipping nationwide. Exotic Snaxx had 122 Google reviews at 4.9 stars earned entirely from people walking past, and nothing online. Collect-at-the-mall checkout pulls that catalogue back into the shop.

Will my Shopify store show up on Google?

Only if the product pages are written to be found. MVP Truck Parts records 5.5K organic clicks a month with zero paid campaigns running, measured 5 August 2026, and ranks first for dozens of part-number searches. That comes from the pages, not the platform.

What Shopify theme do you build on?

We start from a solid base and customise it. Coppr runs on the Horizon base with a custom Coppr theme on top, carrying three product lines including a 13-section water bottle product page with a five-shot gallery and a ritual bundle.

Do you check the other places I sell, not just my own store?

Yes, and it is often where the damage is. The Agora Truck Parts audit in July 2026 found a one-star public rating on one of four sales channels, against 5.0 everywhere else, that nobody was watching, plus theme demo content still live on the homepage.
